Welcome to our FAQ’s page where you will find answers to the most commonly asked questions.
  • Do you offer a warranty on your work?

    Yes, with our standard warranty materials we provide and install are covered for 36 months from date of substantial completion.
  • May I supply my own materials or products?

    Yes you may, with some limitations. We do not, however, warranty homeowner supplied products. In the event the product were to become defective or fail during the warranty period and need replaced, Signature would not warranty the replacement costs or labour of that product.
  • Do you give free estimates?

    Yes, we typically start with a consultation visit to assess your needs and job site conditions to perform estimates.
  • Can I provide my own plans, drawings or specifications for my project?

    Yes! We encourage clients to at least have sketches or pictures of things they may wish to incorporate into their project or plans (even if not professionally drawn).
  • Do you do small jobs?

    Yes, we do many smaller projects as simple as a door or window replacement and even a small repair of certain aspects of your home. Please don’t hesitate to call with any questions.
  • Does Signature allow a homeowner to part of the work themselves?

    Yes, please be aware that we do have limitations and it is handled on a job by job basis depending on the complexity of the job and agreed upon at the beginning of the project.
  • Are you licensed, bonded and insured?

    Yes, we have licenses in various municipalities we work in and add additional city licenses as required. We are bonded, which is required to obtain the license. We carry liability insurance along with workers compensation.
  • Do you offer financing?

    Yes, we have several options available for both large and small jobs ranging from $3000+.
  • Do you have client reference and/or complete jobs we can look at?

    Yes, we have reference lists available of past clients and in some instances it is possible to visit the home to see first hand. Out of respect for our clients we only allow this as needed.
